Daphne arbuscula 'Muran Castle'

The best form with lustrous, dark green needles and clear pink flowers all on a plant about 1/2 the size of most D. arbuscula, like a bigger version of D. petraea. Very hardy; in its native Slovakia, it grows on exposed cliffs at 1500m where the temperature must surely fall to -30 C or lower. Plant in gravelly soil amongst rocks; choice enough for a trough.
