Description
Known as the “white-haired leather-flower”. Clumps of non-vining leathery obovate leaves to 45cm tall. Silky, tomentose white urn shaped bells hang singly, followed by feathery seed heads. Grows natively in shale barrens in western Virginia; from Mike Kintgen’s seed.
