A close relative of heuchera, elmera racemosa is the only member of its genus. Native to NW America, it inhabits rocky slopes and crevices making compact mats of kidney-shaped, olive green leaves. Greenish-yellow urns are displayed on a 10cm stem; a little known but showy member of saxifragacaea. Klamath Co. CO.
