Eriogonum umbellatum v. porteri

A very odd species with tiny, succulent leaves- mostly reddish-green with a hint of tomentosum; yellow flowers on short stems. The whole plant is very tight and less than 6cm tall. It grows well here and tolerates humidity also. An excellent plant for the scree or trough.
