Gladiolus flanaganii

Often referred to as the "suicide lily" it grows on high elevation cliffs in the Drakensberg Mts. Of S. Africa; a crevice dweller that has adapted to exposed, cold conditions. The flowers are a brilliant red, grows to ~ 25cm tall.
